About the Role

As a Surg Tech / OR Tech with Boise, you will be an essential member of the perioperative team, preparing the operating room and assisting surgeons and nurses throughout each procedure. This is a full-time, in-person role based in Boise, Idaho — remote work is not available — ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, organize, and maintain sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies before each surgical procedure.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and pass instruments and supplies during operations.
• Uphold strict sterile technique and infection-control standards throughout every case.
• Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and draping in the operating room.
• Manage instrument counts and ensure all equipment is accounted for before and after surgery.
• Help break down and turn over the OR between cases to keep the schedule on track.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent OR Tech training.
• Current Surgical Technologist certification where required, or eligibility to obtain it.
• Working knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instruments, and operating-room workflow.
• Strong attention to detail, composure under pressure, and clear communication with the surgical team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and meet the physical demands of an operating-room environment.
