Nursing – Clinical Adjunct Professor

Bryant & Stratton College is hiring a part-time Nursing – Clinical Adjunct Professor at its Colonie, Albany County campus to guide the next generation of nursing professionals through hands-on clinical instruction.

About the Role

This part-time faculty position places you at the center of practical nursing education, where you'll supervise and mentor students during clinical rotations at affiliated healthcare sites in the Albany area. As a Nursing – Clinical Adjunct Professor at Bryant & Stratton College in Colonie, you'll bridge classroom theory and real-world patient care, helping students build the competencies they need to enter the nursing workforce with confidence.

What You'll Do

• Supervise nursing students during assigned clinical rotations at partner healthcare facilities
• Evaluate student clinical performance against established learning outcomes and course objectives
• Deliver pre- and post-clinical conferences that reinforce evidence-based nursing practice
• Provide timely, constructive feedback to support individual student development
• Maintain open communication with clinical site staff to ensure a safe, productive learning environment
• Uphold patient safety standards and all applicable regulatory requirements throughout every clinical experience
• Document student progress and clinical hours accurately in accordance with college policies

What We're Looking For

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in New York State
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or graduate degree preferred
• Demonstrated clinical experience in an acute care, long-term care, or community health setting
• Prior teaching, precepting, or clinical supervision experience is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills suited to diverse adult learners
• Commitment to student success and outcomes-focused nursing education
