Assistant Teacher

What You'll Do

• Support lead teachers in delivering age-appropriate activities and lesson plans
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom in compliance with all Florida childcare licensing requirements and company standards
• Supervise and engage children during learning activities, meals, and outdoor play
• Observe and document children's developmental progress and communicate findings to lead teachers
• Build warm, trusting relationships with children and their families
• Reinforce positive behavior and social-emotional skills throughout the day

What We're Looking For

• Genuine enthusiasm for working with young children and supporting their development
• Ability to follow established licensing guidelines and center-level procedures consistently
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first approach
• Patience, reliability, and a nurturing presence in the classroom
• Prior experience in a childcare, preschool, or early education setting is a plus
• Must meet Florida state requirements for childcare employment, including background screening
