Parker's Kitchen is hiring a full-time Leader in Training at Store 80 in Lincolnville, Dorchester County — a hands-on developmental role built for motivated individuals ready to grow into store leadership at one of the Southeast's most recognized convenience store brands.

About the Role

The Leader in Training program at Parker's Kitchen is designed to give emerging leaders real operational experience across every department — fuel, retail, and food service — while working alongside and ultimately covering for the Store Leader. You'll be based at Store 80 in Lincolnville but will step into a leadership capacity across nearby locations as operational needs arise. This is a ground-up leadership track, not just a supervisory title.

What You'll Do

• Partner with the Store Leader to oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Lead, coach, and develop team members to deliver consistent, high-quality customer experiences
• Manage fuel, retail merchandising, and food service operations in line with Parker's Kitchen standards
• Step in as acting Store Leader when coverage is required, maintaining full accountability for the location
• Monitor inventory levels, support ordering processes, and minimize shrink through loss prevention awareness
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, health codes, and company policies
• Oversee cash handling, POS operations, and shift-level reporting accuracy
• Uphold a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment for both customers and crew

What We're Looking For

• A demonstrated interest in retail, food service, or convenience store management
• Prior supervisory or team-lead experience in a fast-paced customer-facing environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset
• Ability to multitask across fuel operations, food programs, and store floor responsibilities simultaneously
• Reliability, accountability, and a willingness to cover shifts across multiple locations when needed
• Basic proficiency with POS systems and cash management procedures
• Flexibility to work a full-time schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
