Ar Protective Service Inc is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Guard to serve clients across Anaheim and Orange County — a hands-on field role for security professionals who take pride in keeping people and property safe.

About the Role

As an Unarmed Security Guard with Ar Protective Service Inc, you will be the visible, professional presence that deters incidents before they happen. Working assigned posts throughout the Anaheim area, you'll maintain order, monitor activity, and respond swiftly to situations that require calm, trained judgment — all without the use of a firearm.

What You'll Do

• Conduct regular foot patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas to identify and address security concerns
• Control access points by verifying credentials and logging visitor entries and exits
• Monitor surveillance equipment, alarm systems, and environmental conditions for anything out of the ordinary
• Respond to disturbances, emergencies, and suspicious activity by following established protocols and coordinating with local authorities when necessary
• Prepare accurate, detailed incident reports and maintain a clear post log throughout each shift
• Provide professional assistance to employees, tenants, and visitors — serving as a first point of contact for safety-related concerns
• Enforce property rules and applicable regulations in a firm, courteous manner

What We're Looking For

• Valid California BSIS Guard Card (required) or ability to obtain one before start
• Clean background check and verifiable work history
• Strong situational awareness and the ability to stay alert throughout an entire shift
• Clear verbal and written communication skills for reporting and interacting with the public
• Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor — you represent the company at every post
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
• Prior security or law enforcement experience is a plus, but motivated newcomers are welcome to apply
