Pim Brands is hiring a full-time Team Leader, Packaging — 3rd Shift to lead overnight packaging operations at one of the fastest-growing snack manufacturers in the US, whose beloved brands reach millions of consumers daily.
About the Role
As a 3rd Shift Packaging Team Leader at Pim Brands, you'll own the performance of a packaging line during overnight hours — driving output, upholding quality, and developing the operators who count on your guidance. This is an on-site, hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a high-energy food manufacturing environment and takes pride in getting product out the door right.
What You'll Do
- Direct and support packaging line operators throughout the 3rd shift to meet production schedules and throughput targets
- Monitor line performance in real time, troubleshoot equipment issues, and escalate to maintenance when needed
- Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety standards, and all facility safety protocols
- Conduct thorough shift-start briefings and end-of-shift handoffs with accurate production documentation
- Coach, train, and develop team members to build capability and sustain engagement
- Partner with Quality Assurance to address non-conformances and ensure finished goods meet Pim Brands' standards
- Identify and communicate continuous improvement opportunities to operations management
- Maintain accurate records of yields, downtime, and staffing throughout the shift
What We're Looking For
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience in a food, beverage, or consumer packaged goods manufacturing environment
- Solid working knowledge of packaging equipment, line operations, and GMP requirements
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and hold a team accountable on overnight hours
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities under time pressure
- Clear, professional communication skills — written and verbal — for cross-functional coordination
- Comfort working a consistent 3rd shift schedule in a fast-paced production setting
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or food manufacturing certifications a plus
