About the Role

As a Dock Worker with Estes Express Lines, you'll be a critical part of the freight handling team at the Weissport terminal. Every shift, you'll help ensure that LTL (less-than-truckload) shipments are loaded, secured, and documented with accuracy — work that directly impacts on-time delivery performance and customer satisfaction across the Estes network.

What You'll Do

• Load and unload freight trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and manual handling techniques as needed
• Secure cargo using straps, bracing, and padding to minimize the risk of damage or movement during transit
• Inspect incoming shipments and accurately document freight condition upon arrival at the Weissport service center
• Conduct pre-shift and post-shift inspections of dock equipment to confirm safe operating condition
• Maintain consistent, reliable attendance in support of dock operations and team productivity

What We're Looking For

• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks (prior certification or experience preferred)
• Physical capability to lift and move freight by hand when required
• Strong attention to detail for freight condition documentation and equipment inspection
• Dependable attendance and a commitment to showing up ready to contribute each shift
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse or terminal dock environment
