Landscape foreman

V24 WORK is hiring a full-time Landscape Foreman to lead skilled crews on commercial and residential outdoor projects across Indianapolis and Marion County, Indiana.

About the Role

As a Landscape Foreman with V24 WORK, you'll take ownership of day-to-day crew operations — directing team members through landscape installation, ongoing maintenance, and site enhancement projects. When winter arrives, your crew transitions to snow and ice removal, keeping Indianapolis properties safe throughout the cold-weather season. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and knows how to keep a crew working efficiently in the field. Compensation ranges from $22 to $25 per hour, commensurate with experience.

What You'll Do

• Direct and motivate a landscape crew on daily assignments, ensuring work is completed safely and to standard
• Oversee installation of plants, trees, shrubs, sod, mulch, and decorative stone features
• Manage turf maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, and bed maintenance
• Coordinate and supervise snow and ice removal operations during winter months
• Conduct on-site quality checks to ensure project specifications are met before job closeout
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding project progress and site conditions
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and report mechanical issues promptly
• Enforce job-site safety protocols and ensure crew compliance with PPE requirements

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or a closely related trade
• Prior experience supervising or leading a field crew
• Solid knowledge of plant material, turf care, and landscape installation techniques
• Familiarity with snow removal equipment and winter service operations
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate trucks and trailers is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a dependable, team-first work ethic
• Ability to work outdoors in varying Midwest weather conditions throughout the year
