Irrigation Project Manager

The Triumph Group is hiring a full-time Irrigation Project Manager based in Lakewood Ranch, Manatee County, Florida to lead golf course irrigation projects for a company with nearly four decades of specialized field experience.

About the Role

As an Irrigation Project Manager with The Triumph Group, you will take ownership of golf course irrigation installations and renovation projects from pre-construction through final walkthrough. This is a hands-on leadership position that puts you at the center of project planning, crew coordination, and client communication across the greater Manatee County region and surrounding Southwest Florida markets.

What You'll Do

• Direct day-to-day field operations for golf course irrigation installation and renovation projects, ensuring work proceeds on schedule and within scope
• Review project plans, irrigation design drawings, and specifications to plan crew assignments, material staging, and equipment needs
• Supervise and mentor field crews, holding daily briefings and enforcing safety standards on all job sites
• Serve as the primary point of contact for golf course superintendents, general contractors, and ownership groups throughout the project lifecycle
• Track project budgets, labor hours, and material usage; flag variances early and develop corrective action plans
• Coordinate material procurement and delivery schedules with vendors and suppliers to prevent field delays
• Conduct quality-control inspections, system pressure tests, and final commissioning of installed irrigation systems
• Maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports, change orders, and as-built records

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience managing irrigation installation or construction projects, with golf course work strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of commercial irrigation systems, including mainline installation, pump station integration, and central control platforms
• Proven ability to read and interpret irrigation design drawings, site plans, and technical specifications
• Strong leadership skills with experience supervising multi-person field crews in a fast-paced construction environment
• Solid understanding of project scheduling, budget tracking, and change-order management
• Effective communicator comfortable interfacing directly with clients and subcontractors
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites throughout the region
• Physical capability to work outdoors in Florida's climate across varying terrain
