Construction Inspector Supervisor/Manager

What You'll Do

• Direct and coordinate the daily activities of construction inspection staff across assigned projects
• Review construction plans, specifications, and contract documents to ensure field work meets required standards
• Monitor compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and agency requirements throughout each project phase
• Maintain thorough inspection records, daily reports, and project documentation
• Serve as a primary point of contact between field teams, contractors, and project management
• Evaluate contractor performance and flag non-conforming work for resolution
• Mentor and develop junior inspectors, building team capability and consistency
• Participate in progress meetings, schedule reviews, and pay estimate approvals
• Support quality control processes and contribute to continuous improvement efforts

What We're Looking For

• A minimum of five years of hands-on construction inspection experience
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and organize inspection teams effectively
• Solid understanding of construction materials, methods, and contract administration
• Familiarity with applicable state or local transportation agency standards and procedures
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder coordination
• A collaborative mindset and genuine commitment to team success
• Eagerness to grow professionally within a dynamic, project-driven environment
• Valid driver's license and the ability to work in field conditions
