Chico's FAS is hiring a full-time Assistant Store Manager for Soma at our Winchester, Clark County location — a key leadership role for a driven retail professional ready to help lead a high-performing team in an intimate apparel and wellness brand environment.

About the Role

As Assistant Store Manager at Soma in Winchester, you'll partner closely with the Store Manager to oversee every dimension of store performance — from driving sales results and delivering an exceptional customer experience to managing daily operations, protecting company assets, and developing your team. This is a hands-on leadership position that demands both strategic thinking and a floor-level presence.

What You'll Do

• Support the Store Manager in directing sales strategies, operations, and overall store profitability
• Build and manage weekly staff schedules that maintain optimal floor coverage while adhering to fiscal targets
• Review and approve team timesheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards
• Champion asset protection protocols to minimize shrink and safeguard store inventory
• Oversee day-to-day human resources functions including associate onboarding, coaching, and performance feedback
• Lead by example on the sales floor to model Soma's brand values and customer-first service culture
• Step in as acting Store Manager when needed, maintaining continuity of leadership and operations
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to analyze business metrics and implement action plans that improve results

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience in retail management or a senior sales leadership role
• Proven ability to coach and motivate a team toward measurable sales and service goals
• Strong organizational skills with experience building staff schedules and managing labor within budget
• Working knowledge of retail asset protection and loss prevention best practices
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for both customer-facing and team-development situations
• Comfort with HR basics: hiring support, associate relations, and policy administration
• Flexible availability to meet the needs of a full-time retail leadership schedule
