About the Role

As a Bakery/Cake Decorator at Kroger's Santa Clara store, you'll be the creative force behind custom and display cakes that delight customers every day. What You'll Do

• Design and decorate custom cakes, cupcakes, and other bakery items to meet customer orders and department display standards
• Consult with customers to understand their decorating requests and deliver results that exceed expectations
• Support department leadership in achieving sales and profitability targets
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work area that complies with all health and sanitation requirements
• Monitor product quality and freshness, rotating stock and pulling items that don't meet Kroger's quality standards
• Assist with general bakery production tasks as needed, including icing, filling, and finishing baked goods

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience in cake decorating, pastry arts, or a bakery production environment (preferred)
