Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church is seeking a dedicated full-time Facilities Manager in Dallas, Texas to help keep its campus safe, welcoming, and well maintained for worshippers, students, and staff alike.
About the Role
As Facilities Manager, you will partner closely with the Director of Facilities to oversee the day-to-day physical plant operations of Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church and Saint Michael Episcopal School (SMES). This Dallas-based, on-site position blends people leadership with hands-on coordination of the building systems that support a busy parish and school community.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Facilities in directing the physical plant operations of the church and school campus.
- Lead, schedule, and supervise facilities personnel across maintenance and custodial functions.
- Oversee building systems that ensure the safety, comfort, and security of staff, parishioners, and students.
- Coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, and cleaning across all facilities.
- Manage setup and takedown of spaces for worship services, school activities, and campus events.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities, building maintenance, or physical plant management.
- Strong supervisory and team-leadership skills, with the ability to manage personnel effectively.
- Working knowledge of building systems, security, and preventive maintenance practices.
- Excellent organizational skills to balance scheduled upkeep with event setup and takedown.
- Availability for full-time, on-site work in Dallas, Texas.
