As a weekend Maintenance Tech at Otterbein SeniorLife in Cortland, you will be the go-to person for upkeep and repairs across our campus during weekend hours. Your work directly protects the wellbeing of residents, visitors, and team members by keeping our buildings and grounds secure and well maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and reliable environment for residents, guests, and fellow employees across the campus
• Respond promptly and cheerfully to maintenance needs, completing repairs and upkeep in a timely manner
• Support the comfort and quality of life of older adults through dependable, attentive service
• Communicate, coordinate, and cooperate with other departments to keep operations running smoothly
• Identify and address potential safety or maintenance concerns before they affect residents

Qualifications

• Practical maintenance, repair, or general handyperson experience across building systems and grounds
• A genuine commitment to serving and respecting senior residents
• Reliable availability for weekend shifts on our Cortland campus
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks with limited on-site support
