About the Role

We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Painter to support our Maintenance Department in Albany, Albany County. This full-time, on-site position blends painting expertise with general maintenance support, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and takes pride in keeping facilities clean, safe, and welcoming. The Painter reports directly to the Director of Maintenance and plays an important part in keeping the department running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces and apply paint, finishes, and coatings to interior and exterior areas throughout our facilities.
• Carry out routine touch-ups and refinishing to maintain a professional, high-quality appearance.
• Assist the Maintenance Department with day-to-day upkeep and general hands-on tasks as needed.
• Support the overall organization and efficiency of the department under the guidance of the Director of Maintenance.
• Juggle several priorities at once while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Practical painting and surface-preparation experience, with the ability to deliver clean, consistent results.
• Strong multitasking skills and the ability to stay productive in a busy, fast-moving environment.
• A self-motivated, reliable approach to work with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to pitch in on a range of maintenance duties as part of a collaborative team.
• Comfortable working on-site in Albany, Albany County, on a full-time schedule.
