The Arc Nature Coast is hiring full-time DSPs/Residential Associates in Brooksville, Hernando County, to empower adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live fuller, more independent lives. About the Role
As a Residential Associate (Direct Support Professional) with The Arc Nature Coast, you will provide compassionate, person-centered support to individuals living in our group homes across Spring Hill and Brooksville. Immediate full-time openings are available, with afternoon, overnight, and weekend shifts to choose from. The current rate of pay is $15 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver daily care and individualized support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)
- Assist residents with personal care, household routines, and life skills that encourage independence
- Promote a safe, respectful, and welcoming home environment in our Spring Hill and Brooksville locations
- Support residents in community activities, social engagement, and daily living goals
- Cover assigned afternoon, overnight, and/or weekend shifts reliably
Qualifications
- A genuine commitment to caring for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Dependability and flexibility to work afternoon, overnight, or weekend hours
- Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a team-oriented attitude
- Willingness to work on-site at our Brooksville and Spring Hill group homes (this is not a remote position)
