J&J Snack Foods is hiring a full-time EHS Coordinator in Tampa, Hillsborough County to help safeguard people, processes, and the environment across our food manufacturing operations.
About the Role
As the EHS Coordinator in Tampa, you will champion environmental, health, and safety practices on the J&J Snack Foods production floor. This on-site position is ideal for a detail-driven professional who thrives on building safer workplaces, supporting compliance, and partnering with teams to reduce risk every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and reinforce environmental, health, and safety programs across the Tampa facility.
- Conduct routine inspections, hazard assessments, and walkthroughs to identify and correct unsafe conditions.
- Support compliance with applicable federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
- Help investigate incidents, document findings, and follow through on corrective actions.
- Deliver safety training and communicate best practices to employees at all levels.
- Maintain accurate EHS records, reports, and documentation.
Qualifications
- Background or working knowledge in environmental, health, and safety practices within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Familiarity with OSHA and related workplace safety standards.
- Strong observational, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Tampa, Hillsborough County.
- Commitment to fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
