Gsfoods is hiring a part-time CDL B Delivery Driver in Jefferson, Jefferson Parish — a hands-on transportation role with one of the nation's leading distributors of food to K–12 schools.

About the Role

As a CDL B Delivery Driver with Gsfoods in Jefferson, Jefferson Parish, you will operate within our Transportation division and report to the Transportation Manager. This is a part-time, non-exempt hourly position focused on safely moving and delivering food products to the schools and customers we proudly serve every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle requiring a Class B CDL to complete scheduled deliveries.
• Transport food products to K–12 school customers across the assigned Jefferson Parish service area.
• Load, unload, and verify orders accurately while protecting product quality and condition in transit.
• Deliver dependable, friendly service that reflects our commitment to outstanding customer care.
• Follow all transportation, safety, and Department of Transportation regulations on every route.
• Coordinate with the Transportation Manager and warehouse team to keep routes running on schedule.

Qualifications

• A valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL B) in good standing.
• A clean driving record and a strong commitment to safe driving practices.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of loading, unloading, and delivering products.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a customer-first attitude on every delivery.
• Availability to work a part-time schedule as assigned by the Transportation division.
