MHM Support Services is hiring a part-time, days-shift PACU Registered Nurse (RN) in the US to deliver attentive, evidence-based recovery care to patients emerging from anesthesia. About the Role
As an RN in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at MHM Support Services, you will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate care for assigned patients during their critical recovery phase. This is a part-time, days position based in the US, and it carries full professional accountability for the quality and safety of the care you provide.
Key Responsibilities
- Use the nursing process to plan and deliver individualized patient care throughout the post-anesthesia recovery period.
- Take professional ownership of care outcomes for your assigned patients.
- Review and assess the effectiveness of care given by fellow members of the direct care team.
- Partner with other departments to coordinate seamless, patient-centered care across the perioperative journey.
- Uphold patient rights and safeguard the confidentiality of all patient information.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, eligible to practice in the US.
- Clinical nursing experience, with PACU or perioperative background strongly preferred.
- Solid command of the nursing process and patient assessment in a recovery setting.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across clinical departments and care teams.
- Commitment to patient advocacy, confidentiality, and high standards of accountability.
