About the Role
As a General Cleaner with HES Facilities, you will support the day-to-day custodial operations of an educational institution somewhere in the US. This is a hands-on, full-time position centered on maintaining clean classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas so learning spaces stay healthy and presentable. The position is on-site and is not a remote opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, and shared spaces across the facility
- Empty waste receptacles, replenish supplies, and dispose of trash and recycling properly
- Use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment safely and according to instructions
- Report maintenance issues, damage, or safety hazards to the appropriate supervisor
- Follow established custodial schedules and quality standards to keep the campus inviting
Qualifications
- Reliability and a strong attention to detail in a school or campus setting
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, lifting, and walking throughout a shift
- Willingness to work on-site at a US location for the full-time schedule provided
- A cooperative, service-minded approach to working alongside facilities teammates and school staff
