Crossroads YMCA is hiring a full-time Pickleball Director in Crown Point, Lake County, Indiana, to lead a brand-new, state-of-the-art pickleball facility featuring 12 indoor courts built to PPA standards. About the Role

As the Pickleball Director at Crossroads YMCA, you will be the driving force behind one of the region's premier indoor pickleball destinations. Based in Crown Point, Lake County, you'll oversee daily operations of a 12-court facility, shape its programming, and grow a thriving player community. Compensation begins at $21.00 per hour, with room to grow based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day management of a new, 12-court indoor pickleball facility built to PPA standards.
• Design, launch, and continually improve pickleball programming, including leagues, clinics, lessons, and organized play.
• Recruit, supervise, schedule, and develop facility staff to deliver an excellent member experience.
• Champion participation across all skill levels, from first-time players to competitive enthusiasts.
• Ensure courts, equipment, and operations meet quality, safety, and PPA standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of and passion for pickleball, with the creativity to grow programs and engagement.
• Experience leading staff and managing facility or program operations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and people-leadership skills.
• Availability for a full-time, on-site role in Crown Point, Indiana (this is not a remote position).
