About the Role

As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide one-on-one support to a 49-year-old man living in the Liverpool, New York community. Your focus will be on building genuine rapport, encouraging participation in everyday activities, and helping him strengthen the skills he needs to thrive. This is a hands-on, community-based position where patience, respect, and an open mind matter just as much as experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Accompany and support the individual during activities throughout the local community.
• Encourage and help develop social skills through positive, person-centered interaction.
• Promote greater independence in daily routines and self-care.
• Build a trusting, respectful relationship that supports personal growth and well-being.
