About the Role

As a Cath Lab Tech in Commerce Township, Oakland County, you will work alongside cardiologists and clinical staff during catheterization and interventional cases. This is a day-shift assignment structured as a four-week contract beginning 29 June 2026, with 10-hour scheduled shifts. The position calls for someone comfortable in a fast-paced procedural environment who can deliver consistent, patient-centered care under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Prepare, position, and monitor patients before, during, and after each case
• Operate and maintain cath lab imaging and monitoring equipment
• Set up sterile fields and ensure all instruments and supplies are procedure-ready
• Document procedural details accurately and communicate clearly with the care team
• Follow established safety, radiation, and infection-control protocols at all times

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience and training as a Cath Lab Tech or cardiovascular technologist
• Working knowledge of catheterization lab procedures, instrumentation, and imaging systems
• Ability to perform reliably during the scheduled 10-hour day shifts
• Availability for the full four-week contract starting 29 June 2026
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a commitment to patient safety
