About the Role

As a Product Demonstrator at Acosta Group in Durham, you'll be the friendly face that introduces customers to both food and non-food products on the retail floor. This part-time, in-store position is ideal for outgoing individuals who enjoy engaging with the public and helping shoppers discover new items they'll love.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging in-store demonstrations for a variety of food and non-food products.
• Set up your demonstration station, including preparing and serving samples, then breaking down equipment and supplies when finished.
• Build and maintain a working knowledge of the products you represent so you can answer shopper questions confidently.
• Approach and connect with customers in the aisle, presenting products in a courteous and persuasive way.
• Keep your workspace clean, organized, and compliant with food-handling and safety standards.
• Present a polished, professional appearance that reflects well on Acosta Group and its retail partners.

Qualifications

• Comfortable interacting with customers and starting conversations with shoppers throughout your shift.
• Able to stand for extended periods and handle the setup and breakdown of demonstration equipment and supplies.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently on the sales floor.
• Willing to learn product details and follow proper preparation and sampling procedures.
• Available to work on-site in Durham, Durham County for this part-time position.
