Sr. Contracting Project Manager

Trane Technologies is seeking a Sr. Contracting Project Manager to join our team in Livonia, Wayne County, where you will lead the delivery of HVAC and building services projects that advance our commitment to a more sustainable, energy-efficient world.

About the Role

As a Sr. Contracting Project Manager, you will own the full lifecycle of contracting projects in the Livonia area, guiding work from kickoff through final handoff. This full-time, on-site position places you at the intersection of technical execution and client partnership, ensuring every engagement is delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the high standards our customers expect.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee contracting projects from initiation through completion.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, scope, and resources to keep work on track.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Coordinate technicians, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth field execution.
• Monitor quality, safety, and compliance throughout each phase of delivery.
• Identify and resolve risks, change orders, and issues proactively.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing contracting or construction-related projects, ideally within HVAC, mechanical, or building services.
• Strong organizational, scheduling, and budget-management capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients, crews, and cross-functional partners.
• Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working on-site in Livonia, Wayne County, as this role is not remote.
