Foster Care Coordinator

Access Foster Care & Adoption is seeking a dedicated full-time Foster Care Coordinator in Fort Washington, Prince George's County to walk alongside children, teens, and the families who open their homes to them. About the Role

As a Foster Care Coordinator with Access Foster Care & Adoption, you will serve as a steady point of contact for adolescents and children placed in foster provider homes. Working on-site from our Fort Washington office, you will coordinate care, monitor well-being, and help create the supportive conditions in which young people can build vibrant, healthy futures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing guidance and support to children and adolescents living in foster care provider homes.
• Partner closely with foster families to ensure each placement is nurturing, safe, and well-resourced.
• Maintain regular contact and documentation to track each young person's progress and needs.
• Connect youth and caregivers with community services that strengthen long-term outcomes.
• Travel as needed to homes within the service region to deliver hands-on, in-person support.

Qualifications

• Genuine commitment to the welfare of children and adolescents in the foster care system.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with youth, families, and community partners.
• Ability to organize a varied caseload, keep accurate records, and follow through reliably.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to provider homes across the region.
• Availability for a full-time, on-site position based in Fort Washington, Prince George's County.
