Quality Control Inspector

Aerotek is seeking a detail-driven Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Merritt Island, Brevard County, where precision and compliance keep a busy machine shop and welding operation running at the highest standard.

About the Role

As a Quality Control Inspector with Aerotek in Merritt Island, you will safeguard the accuracy, traceability, and regulatory compliance of measurement and calibration equipment. This full-time, on-site position blends hands-on shop-floor inspection with active support of the quality management system across machining and welding processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out hands-on inspections directly on the shop floor to confirm parts meet specifications.
• Operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) equipment for dimensional verification.
• Manage calibration processes and keep measurement equipment accurate and within tolerance.
• Maintain thorough inspection records and documentation to support full traceability.
• Help uphold and strengthen quality management systems within the machine shop and welding environment.

Qualifications

• Practical experience with quality control or inspection in a machining and/or welding setting.
• Working knowledge of CMM operation and dimensional measurement techniques.
• Familiarity with calibration procedures and measurement equipment management.
• Strong attention to detail with disciplined documentation and record-keeping habits.
• Understanding of quality management systems and compliance requirements.
