Groundskeeper / Maintenance Technician

Turner Enterprises Inc. is seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper / Maintenance Technician to help care for the landscapes and facilities of Vermejo Park Ranch in Raton, Colfax County, New Mexico. About the Role

As a Groundskeeper / Maintenance Technician at Turner Enterprises Inc., you will support the upkeep of one of the most renowned bison ranches in the world. Based at Vermejo Park Ranch in Raton, NM, this is a hands-on, seasonal hourly position (non-exempt) ideal for someone who enjoys physical work in wide open landscapes and is committed to preserving the land. Please note this role is non-benefits eligible and housing is not provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, lawns, gardens, and outdoor common areas across the ranch property.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on buildings, equipment, and facilities.
• Carry out repairs, upkeep, and general maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Operate and care for groundskeeping tools, machinery, and equipment safely.
• Support seasonal projects that help preserve and enhance the ranch's natural environment.

Qualifications

• Genuine appreciation for open spaces, the outdoors, and conservation of the land.
• Ability to perform physical, hands-on work in a variety of outdoor conditions.
• Practical skills in groundskeeping, general maintenance, or facility repair.
• Reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to work a seasonal, hourly schedule at the Raton, NM location.
