About the Role

This full-time, on-site Radiology - CT Tech position is based in Gainesville, Florida, supporting the hospital's computed tomography service. As a CT Tech, you will operate advanced imaging equipment to capture diagnostic-quality scans that physicians rely on to guide patient care across inpatient and emergency settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography (CT) examinations following established clinical protocols and physician orders.
• Position patients accurately and adjust imaging parameters to produce clear, diagnostic-quality results.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort and safety throughout each scan.
• Apply radiation safety practices to protect patients, colleagues, and yourself.
• Maintain CT equipment, report malfunctions, and keep accurate patient and imaging records.
• Coordinate with radiologists, nurses, and other care team members to deliver timely results.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program with CT competency.
• Relevant certification and state licensure required to practice as a CT technologist in Florida.
• Hands-on experience operating CT imaging systems in a clinical environment.
• Strong attention to detail, patient-focused communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital setting.
• Availability for a full-time schedule, including extended shifts as assigned.
