About the Role

As a Routine Maintenance Planner (All Craft) at Marathon Petroleum Corporation's Galveston Bay Refinery in Texas City, you will organize and prepare the day-to-day maintenance work that keeps refinery equipment dependable. Reporting into the Planning organization, this on-site position is central to coordinating multi-craft jobs, sequencing tasks, and ensuring teams have what they need before work begins.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed, ready-to-execute plans for routine maintenance activities across multiple craft disciplines.
• Define job scope, estimate labor and material needs, and assemble the resources required for each work order.
• Partner with maintenance, operations, and reliability teams to schedule work that minimizes downtime.
• Maintain accurate planning records and update work-order documentation throughout the job lifecycle.
• Support a safe, efficient work environment by building plans that align with refinery safety standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling in an industrial, refining, or heavy-process setting.
• Familiarity with multiple maintenance crafts and the ability to coordinate cross-functional work.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to work on-site at the Texas City, Galveston County location (this role is not remote).
