Proposal Manager

Leonardo DRS is seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to join its Electro Optical Infrared Systems (EOIS) business in Eau Gallie, Brevard County, Florida. In this full-time, on-site role, you will lead the development of winning proposals that help bring advanced infrared and electro-optical technology to the defense community.

About the Role

As Proposal Manager at Leonardo DRS in Eau Gallie, you will own the end-to-end proposal lifecycle for the EOIS line of business. Working alongside capture teams, engineers, and business development professionals, you will shape compelling, compliant responses that position the company to win critical defense programs supporting soldiers, ground vehicles, and airborne platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the full proposal process, from kickoff through final submission and review.
• Build proposal schedules, outlines, and compliance matrices aligned to customer requirements.
• Partner with technical, pricing, and management contributors to gather and refine content.
• Ensure every submission is accurate, persuasive, and fully responsive to solicitation instructions.
• Facilitate internal review cycles and incorporate feedback to strengthen win themes.
• Maintain a library of reusable proposal materials and continuously improve the process.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing proposals, ideally within the defense, aerospace, or government contracting sector.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams under deadline pressure.
• Excellent written communication and meticulous attention to detail and compliance.
• Comfortable coordinating multiple priorities across distributed engineering and business teams.
• Willingness to work on-site in Eau Gallie, Brevard County, Florida.
