Ambercare, an Addus family company, is urgently seeking a compassionate Home Care Aide Flex (HCA) to support clients across Amalia in Taos County. If you take pride in helping seniors and individuals with disabilities stay safe and independent at home, this full-time, on-site role is for you.

About the Role

As a Home Care Aide Flex with Ambercare, you play an essential part in delivering dependable, in-home support to the people who count on us. This flexible position keeps you on call five days each week — including at least one weekend day — for a total of 40 hours weekly, ensuring our clients in Amalia, Taos County always have caring assistance when they need it most.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with everyday living tasks so they can remain comfortable and independent in their own homes
• Provide attentive, respectful personal care to seniors and adults with disabilities
• Support routine household activities that help maintain a safe and clean living environment
• Maintain reliable availability across a flexible five-day schedule, including weekend coverage
• Communicate any changes in a client's needs or condition to the care team

Qualifications

• A genuine desire to care for and support vulnerable members of the community
• Dependability and flexibility to work an on-call schedule of five days per week, one of which is a weekend day
• Willingness to commit to 40 hours per week on a full-time basis
• Ability to work on-site in and around Amalia, Taos County
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient, dependable approach to client care
