Mechanical Engineer/Project Manager

Harrison Consulting Solutions is seeking a driven Mechanical Engineer/Project Manager to join its growing, full-service team in Arsenal, Allegheny County, supporting projects across the greater Pittsburgh region.

About the Role

This full-time, on-site position blends hands-on mechanical engineering with end-to-end project leadership. As a Mechanical Engineer/Project Manager at Harrison Consulting Solutions, you will guide engineering efforts from initial design through construction, taking ownership of power and utility projects while helping shape the next generation of engineering talent in Arsenal, Allegheny County.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from start to finish, covering complete engineering design, survey work, facility assessments, construction administration, site walks, and field service.
• Direct the design of power and utility projects, ensuring technical quality and timely delivery.
• Provide oversight and coordination across active engineering projects.
• Mentor, coach, and develop junior engineering staff.
• Support business development and proposal efforts as the firm continues to grow.

Qualifications

• A background in mechanical engineering with proven project management experience.
• Familiarity with power and utility project design.
• Experience handling engineering design, surveys, facility assessments, and construction administration.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and train less-experienced team members.
• Willingness to perform field service, site walks, and on-site assessments in the Pittsburgh area.
