About the Role

As a Senior Cost Controller at TC Energy, you will own the cost management lifecycle across major capital and operating projects based in Houston, Harris County. Working shoulder-to-shoulder with project, engineering, and finance teams, you will translate budgets into accurate forecasts and keep complex programs financially on track.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze project budgets, forecasts, and cost baselines.
• Monitor expenditures, commitments, and variances, flagging risks before they escalate.
• Prepare clear cost reports and dashboards for project leadership and stakeholders.
• Partner with planners and schedulers to align cost and schedule performance.
• Support change management, accruals, and month-end close activities.
• Champion accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement across cost controls.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in cost control, project controls, or project accounting, ideally within energy, pipeline, or large capital environments.
• Strong command of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis techniques.
