About the Role

As Senior Counsel at Fujifilm, you will serve as a trusted legal advisor supporting the company's IT and software services businesses. Reporting to the Division General Counsel for Electronics, M&A & Assistant Secretary, you will be the go-to partner for corporate and transactional matters, translating complex legal questions into clear, actionable counsel that keeps the business moving forward. This position is based full-time in Charleston, Kanawha County, and is not a remote opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end legal counsel on corporate and transactional matters affecting the software and IT services divisions.
• Advise leadership and cross-functional teams on contracts, commercial arrangements, and day-to-day legal risk.
• Support corporate governance, transactions, and related initiatives in partnership with the Division General Counsel.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align legal strategy with business objectives.
• Identify potential legal exposure early and recommend practical, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) and admission to practice law in good standing.
• Demonstrated experience as a senior-level attorney handling corporate and transactional work.
• Strong command of commercial and technology-related legal issues, ideally within software or IT services.
• Meticulous attention to detail paired with sound, strategic judgment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to advise stakeholders at every level of the organization.
