Quality Analyst (Inpatient DRG Management and Clinical Validation) role responsible for auditing medical record documentation, performing full inpatient code auditing, and clinical validation reviews. The role also involves facilitating internal quality review process, participating in new hire onboarding and training, and ensuring quality outcomes.
Requirements
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in DRG management, PCS coding, and Clinical Validation
- Experience in facility inpatient coding, auditing, and/or CDI experience
- Experience with various Encoder, CAC and EHR software applications
- Understanding of physician query processes
- Experience as an educator and/or trainer
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Ability to use coding references such as (Coding Clinic, etc.)
