Provest is hiring a dedicated Process Server in Moline, Rock Island County, Illinois, to deliver civil legal documents accurately and on time across a wide regional service area.

About the Role

As a Process Server with ProVest LLC's Civil Process Service team, you will handle the timely and lawful delivery of legal paperwork to named parties. This is a full-time, field-based position (engaged as an independent contractor) operating out of Moline and covering surrounding Illinois counties, including Rock Island, Henry, Mercer, Henderson, Warren, Knox, Hancock, Fulton, McDonough, Brown, Cass, Pike, Scott, Schuyler, Logan, Mason, Menard, Morgan, Richland, Clay, Wabash, and Lawrence. Because this role is performed on location, it is not a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve civil legal documents to individuals and businesses in compliance with applicable state laws and court requirements.
• Locate and identify the correct recipients across the assigned multi-county territory.
• Document each service attempt thoroughly and prepare accurate proof-of-service records.
• Manage routes and schedules efficiently to meet court deadlines.
• Maintain professionalism, discretion, and integrity in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work as a private process server in Illinois, in line with county and state regulations.
• A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license for travel throughout the service region.
• Strong organizational skills and careful attention to detail when recording service activity.
• The ability to work independently, manage time well, and remain calm in challenging situations.
• Familiarity with civil process service procedures is an asset.
