Sales Engineer, Energy

Quvia is seeking a Sales Engineer to lead the technical lifecycle of network and connectivity solutions for customers across the Energy & Shipping vertical in the US region. This is a customer-facing engineering role that blends deep technical expertise with commercial awareness, supporting the full solution lifecycle—from requirements discovery, design, and proof of concept through deployment, validation, and post-implementation optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Telecommunications, or Systems Engineering, or a related technical field
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in telecommunications, mobile networks, or broadcast systems engineering
• Strong understanding of digital communication systems, RF signal theory, IP network design, and traffic management (QoS)
• Experience deploying or managing VSAT platforms, IP routing, and transmission technologies (unicast/multicast, VoIP, IPsec)
• Familiarity with wireless communications systems including Wi-Fi and cellular architectures
• Proven experience across both pre- and post-sales technical activities, with direct ownership of system design, deployment, and performance outcomes
• Excellent technical communication and documentation skills, able to convey complex engineering concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Comfort operating in multicultural, customer-facing environments, with the ability to travel up to 20% across the US
