About the Role
As the Supervisor, Custodial Setups-Nights at UCM, you will direct overnight custodial and union setup operations across university facilities in Warrensburg, Johnson County. The position centers on organizing crews and resources so that every space is properly cleaned, prepared, and configured on schedule. This is a full-time, on-site role that calls for strong planning instincts and hands-on familiarity with campus environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead custodial and union setup teams to guarantee dependable, on-time coverage throughout each shift.
- Develop schedules and coordinate workflows, distributing daily, weekly, and monthly assignments to staff.
- Monitor active projects, track progress, and adjust task assignments as priorities shift.
- Respond to questions, concerns, and issues raised by team members during operations.
- Stay current on university buildings, institutional policies, FPO procedures, and the safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory or lead experience in custodial, facilities, or event setup operations.
- Solid working knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safe operating practices.
- Ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate multiple concurrent projects effectively.
- Familiarity with facility policies and procedures, or the capacity to learn UCM and FPO standards quickly.
- Willingness and availability to work the night shift on-site in Warrensburg, Johnson County.
