About the Role

As a Teacher's Aide with the City of San Antonio, you will work alongside a lead teacher at one of the Pre-K 4 SA Education Centers in Balcones Heights, helping four-year-olds learn, grow, and thrive. Working under close supervision, you'll contribute to a safe, engaging, and developmentally rich classroom environment every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the lead teacher with classroom setup, daily activities, and the ongoing development of enrolled four-year-old students.
• Help organize the safe boarding and exiting of children at designated bus transportation sites.
• Assist in designing and running high-quality outdoor learning experiences.
• Maintain a secure environment and prioritize the wellbeing of every child in your care.

Qualifications

• A genuine interest in early childhood education and the growth of young learners.
• Ability to follow direction and collaborate closely with a lead teacher.
• Attentiveness to student safety, including during arrival, departure, and outdoor activities.
