About the Role

As a Part-Time Orthodontic Assistant at Casa Smiles in Coral Gables, you will be a trusted partner to our orthodontist and a friendly face for the young patients and families we serve. This chairside position is central to delivering the caring, high-quality treatment experience our community has come to expect, with a schedule designed to fit part-time availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the orthodontist directly during examinations and treatment procedures.
• Help children and their parents feel comfortable, informed, and at ease throughout each visit.
• Prepare and organize the treatment area, instruments, and materials before and after appointments.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming clinical environment that meets infection-control standards.
• Contribute to smooth daily operations so every family receives attentive, personalized care.

Qualifications

• A genuine enthusiasm for working with children in a pediatric orthodontic setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with patients and families.
• Reliability, attention to detail, and a team-first attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop through hands-on training; prior dental or orthodontic assisting experience is a plus.
