About the Role

As a Service Technician with Mark-Porter-Auto-Group, you'll be at the heart of the customer experience, performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs that keep our Ashland community moving. This is an on-site, full-time position in Boyd County where your technical know-how is recognized and rewarded. Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicle systems including engines, brakes, electrical, and suspension components
• Carry out routine maintenance such as oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and scheduled servicing
• Accurately document work performed, parts used, and recommendations for each vehicle
• Communicate clearly with the service team so customers understand the work their vehicle needs
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and aligned with safety standards
• Stay current with evolving automotive technologies and repair procedures

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an automotive Service Technician or in a comparable mechanical repair role
• Solid working knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostic equipment
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality, dependable workmanship
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated service team
• Reliable, customer-focused, and motivated to deliver exceptional automotive care
• Authorized to work on-site in Ashland, Boyd County, Kentucky
