Rosendin is seeking an experienced Chief Estimator to lead estimating operations and drive accurate, competitive bids on some of the most visible construction projects across the United States. This full-time, on-site role offers genuine ownership and the chance to shape outcomes alongside a recognized industry leader.
About the Role
As Chief Estimator at Rosendin, you will own the estimating function from initial takeoff through final bid, setting the standards and processes that keep proposals precise, profitable, and on schedule. Based in the US, you will partner with project teams, leadership, and clients to translate complex scopes into clear, defensible numbers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the full estimating process for assigned projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Review drawings, specifications, and scopes to develop detailed, well-documented cost estimates.
- Mentor and direct estimating staff, establishing best practices and consistent methodology.
- Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and field teams to validate quantities, pricing, and assumptions.
- Analyze bid results, refine cost data, and support competitive proposal strategy.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and clients to strengthen bid quality.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in construction estimating, with demonstrated leadership of estimating teams or functions.
- Strong command of estimating methods, takeoff, cost analysis, and bid preparation.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple high-profile projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Authorized to work in the United States; available for this full-time, on-site position.
