About the Role

As a Maintenance Mechanic with Energizer Holdings, Inc., you will support the day-to-day upkeep, repair, and continuous improvement of the machinery and systems that power our Vandalia facility. This is a full-time, on-site position central to maintaining safe, productive, and dependable manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance, inspections, and adjustments on production equipment and facility systems.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and complete timely repairs to reduce downtime and keep operations moving.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns, identify root causes, and apply lasting corrective solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and work completed.
• Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and workplace policies during every task.
• Collaborate with production teams to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize disruption.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience maintaining or repairing industrial or manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems and work effectively under deadlines.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work on-site full-time at the Vandalia, Montgomery County location.
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a collaborative maintenance team.
