About the Role
As a full-time Golf Course Grounds Maintenance Technician, you'll be hands-on in caring for the turf, greens, fairways, and surrounding landscape that make our resort a destination. This is an outdoor, physically active position in Callicoon where your attention to detail directly elevates the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain our championship 18-hole golf course — greens, tees, fairways, and roughs — to consistently high standards.
- Mow, trim, and groom turf and surrounding grounds across the resort property.
- Operate and look after grounds and turf maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with irrigation, fertilization, and general landscape upkeep as directed.
- Keep facilities and outdoor spaces clean, presentable, and ready to welcome guests.
Qualifications
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather and take on physically demanding tasks.
- Dependability paired with a sharp eye for detail and presentation.
- Comfort operating, or a readiness to learn, grounds and turf equipment.
- A team-first attitude and genuine commitment to a polished guest environment.
- Availability for full-time work; seasonal scheduling from March through November may also be considered.
