As an Instructor with Allegheny Lutheran Social Ministries in Bedford, you will lead engaging daily learning experiences for children at the Growing Years Early Learning Center of Bedford. This is a full-time, on-site, non-supervisory position that reports directly to the Center Supervisor. You'll enjoy a dependable weekday schedule with no holiday or weekend shifts, making it an ideal fit for educators who value work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out daily childcare and learning activities for children in your care.
• Supervise and oversee the entire group of children at all times, even while directly engaging with a smaller portion of the group.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming, and developmentally appropriate environment for every child.
• Collaborate with and report to the Center Supervisor on classroom needs and progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• A genuine commitment to the care, safety, and early development of young children.
• Ability to work the full-time, Monday-through-Friday schedule on-site in Bedford, Bedford County.
