Electric Power Systems is hiring a full-time Transformer Supervisor in Missouri, US to lead high-voltage transformer and substation field operations for utility, industrial, and critical infrastructure clients across the country.
About the Role
As a Transformer Supervisor (Field Service Supervisor II) with Electric Power Systems in Missouri, US, you will direct on-site crews delivering transformer services and high-voltage substation work. This is an on-location position—not remote—where you will coordinate installation, maintenance, testing, and repair activities while ensuring every project meets safety, quality, and reliability standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise field service teams performing transformer and high-voltage substation installation, maintenance, testing, and repair.
- Plan and schedule daily job tasks, allocate personnel, and keep projects on track and on time.
- Enforce safety protocols and industry compliance on every job site.
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for utility, industrial, and critical infrastructure customers.
- Review job documentation, test results, and reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Mentor and develop technicians, supporting their growth across the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with transformers and high-voltage substation equipment.
- Proven leadership or supervisory ability in a field service or substation environment.
- Strong working knowledge of installation, maintenance, testing, and repair practices.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to applicable codes and standards.
- Willingness to work on-site at customer locations throughout Missouri and beyond.
