Leasing Associate

AION is hiring a full-time Leasing Associate to join our on-site team at Landmark at Glen Station in Silver Spring, serving the Aspen Hill, Montgomery County community. If you thrive on connecting with people and turning interest into signed leases, this role is built for you.

About the Role

Reporting to the Property Manager, the Leasing Associate plays a central part in keeping our community fully occupied. You will guide prospective renters through every step of their journey — from first inquiry to lease signing — while building relationships that encourage current residents to stay. This is an in-person, full-time position based in Aspen Hill, Montgomery County.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive occupancy by attracting and converting qualified prospective residents into leaseholders.
• Build awareness of the community through outreach and networking with local businesses and organizations.
• Coordinate and conduct property tours, schedule appointments, and follow up with interested applicants.
• Close rentals by guiding applicants through the leasing and application process.
• Support resident retention efforts and encourage renewals through positive engagement.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and help resolve resident needs promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

• Strong sales instincts with a track record of meeting goals and closing deals.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
• A customer-first mindset and genuine enthusiasm for helping people find the right home.
• Self-motivation, dependability, and the ability to manage appointments and follow-ups with care.
• Comfort working on-site at our Silver Spring community within Aspen Hill, Montgomery County.
