Glendale Unified School District is building a candidate pool for dedicated educators to join us as an Intervention Elementary School Teacher, delivering targeted instructional support to TK–6 students across our schools in the United States.
About the Role
As an Intervention Elementary School Teacher with Glendale Unified School District, you will work within the Response to Intervention (RTI) framework to give early learners the focused academic help they need to succeed. This is a full-time, in-person position (no remote work), with school assignment to be determined and availability for the 2025–26 school year. This posting represents an ongoing candidate pool, and applications are accepted until positions are filled.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, individualized instructional support to elementary students using the Response to Intervention (RTI) model.
- Identify learning gaps and design targeted interventions matched to each student's needs.
- Monitor student progress, adjust instructional strategies, and document outcomes.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to align support with grade-level goals.
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for TK through 6th grade students.
Qualifications
- A valid California teaching credential appropriate for elementary (TK–6) instruction.
- Familiarity with the Response to Intervention (RTI) framework and tiered instructional support.
- Experience teaching or supporting elementary-aged learners.
- Strong skills in assessment, progress monitoring, and data-informed instruction.
- A collaborative approach and commitment to equitable student outcomes.
