About the Role

As a full-time PE Teacher in Brockton, Plymouth County, you will design and lead developmentally appropriate physical education for our youngest students. Working with preschool through grade 3, you will build foundational motor skills, coordination, and a lifelong appreciation for active, healthy living, all while supporting the values of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver grade-appropriate physical education lesson plans aligned with Massachusetts state standards.
• Adapt instruction for the range of abilities found across preschool through grade 3.
• Create a safe, encouraging, and inclusive environment that promotes participation by every child.
• Teach fundamental movement skills, age-appropriate games, and the basics of fitness and sportsmanship.
• Track student progress and reinforce positive habits around teamwork and personal well-being.

Qualifications

• Ability to plan and teach physical education in line with MA state standards.
• Experience working with early childhood and elementary-aged students (preschool through grade 3) preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills and a patient, energetic approach to young learners.
• Commitment to supporting the mission and values of a Catholic school setting.
• Availability for a full-time, on-site position in Brockton, Plymouth County.
